Turnkey Electromechanical Systems

In Corigliano-Rossano, in the province of Cosenza, the new Primary Substation is preparing to go into service. It will connect the 150 kV grid to the 20 kV network through two 25 MVA transformers, for a total capacity of 50 MVA. The project strengthens the local power grid, improves its stability and creates capacity for new businesses and industrial operations to connect.

As part of the project, we were responsible for the supply, construction and testing of the electromechanical systems.

The two containers shown in the photo house the medium-voltage section. Together with the MV switchgear, LV racks and cable distribution cabinets, they were manufactured at our production facility in Bonate Sotto (Bergamo). Behind them stand our project management team, engineering departments, production and testing, procurement, human resources and the warehouse team that coordinated every shipment to the site: a true company-wide effort.

On site, a dedicated HSE officer oversaw activities for the full duration of the works. We selected materials from recycled supply chains, installed LED lighting and planted new trees in the green areas of the facility.

With testing now complete, the substation is scheduled to enter service by the end of the year.
