HICOS FVB
Fixed or withdrawable vacuum circuit-breaker with front operating mechanism, for primary distribution. Tested at CESI according to IEC Standards. Enel DY523 approved.
Up to 24 kV / 3150 A / 40 kA
Description
HICOS FVB circuit-breakers are manufactured with separate pole vacuum breaking technique. They are compact, robust, impact resistant and protected from the action of pollutants. The circuit-breaker is available in fixed or withdrawable versions, to allow insertion or removal operations from the switchgear. The operating mechanism is with stored energy and carries out a complete opening-closing-opening cycle of the circuit breaker. Thanks to the motorized operating mechanism and the releases, the circuit-breaker can be installed in Smart Grid.
Fields of application
HICOS FVB circuit-breakers are normally used in HICOS PDM primary distribution air insulated switchgear, for the electrical distribution and MV transformer substations. They are also available for installation in third-party manufacturers’ panels. They are suitable for use in utilities, conventional and renewable energy production plants, heavy industry, chemical, oil & gas, manufacturing, mechanical, transport, etc.
