Description

HICOS SVB circuit-breakers are manufactured with separate pole vacuum breaking technique. They are compact, robust, impact resistant and protected from the action of pollutants. The three poles, the operating mechanism and the kinematics are mounted on a steel frame with wheels to facilitate insertion inside the panel. The operating mechanism is with stored energy and carries out a complete opening-closing-opening cycle of the circuit-breaker. The contacts have very small dimensions and mass, and allow the adoption of reduced power commands in favor of greater constructive simplicity and robustness.

Fields of application

HICOS SVB circuit-breakers are normally used in HICOS AIS secondary distribution air insulated switchgear, for the construction of MV/LV distribution and transformer substations. They are also available for installation in thirdparty switchgear. They are used in many types of plants such as: utilities, conventional and renewable energy production plants, light industry, transport, etc.
