Renewable energy sources

Electricity is the world’s most widely used form of energy because it is easy to manage and transport. This is why the demand for electricity is constantly growing at an even faster rate than any other form of energy.

To guarantee the amount of energy required for human activities while reducing its impact on the environment, it is therefore essential to integrate the energy produced from renewable sources (solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass) into the distribution networks by setting up smart grids capable of receiving the energy produced from sources located in areas nearby but characterized by a certain discontinuity.

Having acquired decades of experience in the construction of distribution networks, Boffetti S.p.A. possesses the skills and expertise to create complete installations thanks to which producers and consumers can interact by flexibly adapting their production and consumption of electricity.

Boffetti S.P.A is also involved in smart grid development projects targeted on increasing the amount of energy produced from renewable sources fed into the electricity grids. To confirm its commitment, it has created two phovoltaic systems for its plants in Chignolo d’Isola and Bonate Sotto (BG) with a respective capacity of 200 kWp and 1 MWp.
